Key Account Manager
As a middle child who grew up on the family dairy, I never really envisioned a career in agriculture for myself. It was only after a job offer during my college years while working for UC Kearney Ag Research and Extension Center that I would uncover the profession of a California Pest Control Advisor. I accepted the position, took a leap of faith, and have never looked back. Since entering the field almost thirty years ago, I have graduated from Fresno State and hold a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science, went on to become a fully licensed California PCA, a WR-CCA, and hold a CA -Nsp certificate along with other career accolades and achievements.
Although most of my career and experience has come from the production side of agriculture, when LMG Ag inquired if there was any interest in joining the LMG Team, it was with an unequivocal -Yes. As someone who had worked as an In-House PCA, as a farm manager, a GM of Farming, a Manufacturer Rep, and one who continues to be an active owner of my family farming business, I have watched LMG grow over the years, fill a void in ag retail with a novel approach, and in doing so, grow with an unmatched and unparalleled industry conviction, while staying true to the core. Today, at LMG Ag Products, I not only get to use my experience, knowledge, and background to assist our partners with agronomic input insights, but I am able to provide uninfluenced customer centric service, selection, satisfaction, and savings to their farming business operation. Simply put, LMG Ag Products stands in a different circle, and why I am unapologetically proud to be part of the LMG Team.
In my spare time, I oversee and co-own Fien Ranch, with my wife, Kathleen. Fien Ranch is my family farm that grows citrus and stone fruit. I also actively serve the California Citrus Industry as a Board of Directors Member of California Citrus Mutual (2018) and just concluded another term as Chair of the Pest and Disease Committee of CCM. When I am not in the field, you can typically find me watching sports with my wife (Kathy), and our two daughters: Kennedy and Rilynn. In my leisure, I enjoy discovering those great fishing spots outside of California; the more remote, the better.
